Reiki has been with me since the very beginning of my spiritual path in early 2000, when I met the first of my teachers, Olga Potjomkina, Great Master of Reiki (Mercar lineage). She initiated me, opening the process of my conscious spiritual transformation. With her support and guidance, I eventually became Reiki Master myself. Today, I am truly happy that this wonderful Divine energy came into my life and that she was the one to share this knowledge with me.

Reiki – the Universal Life Energy

The word Reiki comes from Japanese and literally means universal life, energy, manifestation of Divinity, the Holy Spirit. The syllable “Rei” means universality, boundlessness, and the syllable “Ki” means the life force flowing through all living things. In different countries, the Universal Life Energy is called differently: in India it is prana, in ancient Greece it was pneuma, it is the Great Spirit of the Native Indians or the Holy Spirit in the Christian tradition. But no matter what you call it, the essence is the same: it is what lies at the heart of everything, what it all starts with and where it all ends. This is the Energy from which all living things draw Life.

Reiki – the Open Heart Therapy

Reiki contributes to the spiritual development of human beings. The healer is in constant connection with the higher spiritual planes of the Universe, on the basis of Love and Harmony. In Reiki, illness is perceived as a friend who came to the rescue, as a signal that changes are needed, be it in lifestyle, or in attitude towards oneself. In this regard, it is important for a person to understand that no one can cure him/her if he/she does not want it. According to Reiki philosophy, the path to healing is through Love.

Reiki – the Natural Healing System

Reiki is present everywhere in the Universe and, passing through the heart and hands of the healer, is transmitted to people, animals or plants. This method of treatment, known for many thousands of years, had largely fallen into oblivion when, at the turn of last century, it was returned to mankind by a Christian priest from Japan, Dr. Mikao Usui. He devoted half of his life to studying the secret of how Jesus Christ and Gautama Buddha were able to heal people. Mikao Usui was eventually blessed with the discovery of this Energy. He, and the Masters who followed him, were given the task to carry the teachings of Reiki to people.

Reiki “works” simply and naturally, but it nevertheless covers all the planes of human existence. This Divine Energy harmonizes the inner energy of a person, one’s feelings and emotions, calms the nervous system, healing the soul and physical ailments. Our body has its own, inner wisdom and so it is able to absorb the amount of energy it needs at any given moment; in this way no harm can be done.

Reiki is a wonderful tool to clean your living space from unwanted, unnecessary or harmful energies and to protect you and your beloved ones in your home or when traveling, no matter if you are going to far away countries, to work or your children are going to school.

How can you receive Reiki?

You can receive one or several sessions from a Reiki practitioner who has been initiated. Also, you can receive an initiation and so be able to heal yourself. Nowadays, just as it always has been, Reiki is passed from Master to student during four initiations in two to three day seminars. From that moment on, a person becomes a constant conductor of Divine Energy, which does not leave him/her until the end of his/her life. Reiki is available to all people, regardless of their views, religion, age and profession. It combines well with any treatment method, religious belief, spiritual practice etc. It does not matter what you believe, like or do, Reiki is available for you, and through you to all your close ones. Anyone who really wants to get in touch with this amazing Energy, everyone whose heart is open to Love for everything on Earth, can receive the initiation of the First Stage of Reiki.
